Minor programmes at Chanakya University give students the chance to explore an additional subject area along with their main field of study. These programmes are designed to offer flexibility, promote interdisciplinary learning, and help students develop broader knowledge and
skills.

Minor programmes follow a fixed credit system:

Students can choose a Minor from any school, not just their own. For example, a student from Science can choose a Minor from Humanities or Law. This helps students combine knowledge from different fields and learn in a more holistic way. Once students choose a minor, they continue in the same minor till they graduate.

All undergraduate students can choose a Minor starting from Semester 3. To complete the Minor, students need to follow the credit and course requirements set for that Minor. However, choosing a Minor depends on the availability of seats.

UG students can register for Minor courses through the ERP according to the timelines shared by the Office of Academic Affairs. Students are required to adhere strictly to these timelines to ensure smooth registration and timely course allocation.
