Admission at Chanakya University
Chanakya University welcomes applications from both Indian and international students who possess qualifications from recognized educational boards or universities. These qualifications are valid for various undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) programs across a wide range of disciplines such as Biosciences, Engineering, Mathematics & Natural Sciences, Data Science & AI, Law, International Affairs, Public Policy, Management, Humanities, Liberal Arts, Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS), and Social Sciences <Academic Department Links>.

For candidates with qualifications from foreign boards or universities, it is mandatory that their credentials be validated by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) in New Delhi. The AIU provides equivalence for foreign degrees, which is necessary for international students seeking admission to Indian universities.
In such cases, students must provide an AIU Recognition Certificate. Those in the process of obtaining this certification may submit the application acknowledgment from AIU as part of their admission documentation.
However many foreign universities and boards are recognized by AIU. The equivalency certificate may not be required for many international universities/boards, the applicant should confirm the requirement with the admission departments.

Chanakya University reserves the right to request or exemption of this certificate before issuing a provisional admission letter.
NOTE
Foreign nationals applying to Chanakya University are exempt from entrance examinations and scholarship programs. Admissions are granted on a first-come-first-served basis, determined by merit in their qualifying examinations.

Required Documentation
As part of the application, students need to provide supporting documents, which generally include:
Copy of Valid Passport (Front and last section)
A passport-sized photograph.
Good Quality Scanned Copies of academic certificates or qualifications.
Other documents as per the specific requirements of the applied academic program.
Provisional Offer Letters
Candidates who meet the program requirements may receive provisional offer letters based on a first-come, first-served merit basis. In some cases, programs may require additional tests or interviews, which will be outlined in the eligibility criteria. Only applicants who fulfill the eligibility criteria and submit all the required documentation will be issued provisional offer letters.
Equivalency Certificate from AIU
For students with qualifications from international boards or universities, Chanakya University may require an Equivalency Certificate or Recognition Certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) after issuing the provisional offer letter.
Applicants in the process of obtaining this certificate may submit the AIU application acknowledgment as part of their admission documentation. The final AIU certificate can be submitted later.

Provisional Offer Letter Details
The provisional offer letter will include:
Program details, Information about the institution, Course and hostel fees, Payment deadlines details and basic travel related information.
Once the provisional process is complete, applicants are required to meet all the conditions outlined in the letter to confirm their admission.
After getting provisional offer letter, applicants should acknowledge & accept provision Offer Letter and send confirmation as requested in the offer.
VISA Support
After applicants accept the provisional offer and submit the admission fee, Chanakya University will issue a VISA Support Letter and a Provisional Admission Letter. Applicants can use these documents to apply for a Student VISA.
