Initial Steps
C Form:
Upon arrival, within 24 hrs connect with the admission section of Chanakya University and complete formalities related to residence related C-Form.
Chanakya University administration or place of residence can generate C form at the portal : https://indianfrro.gov.in/frro/FormC
Kindly show your visa and all the relevant documents (in original) to the admission office and offices of Chanakya University, whenever requested. The office may keep a copy or original document for short or long term for verification purposes.
You may be required to register online at the FRRO portal and certain documents will be required for that.
The university administration will help you to obtain relevant documents listed below.
After initial verification from admission section, provisional admission will be offered to the student pending final verification of all the certificates/ equivalency.
S Form:
Chanakya University will register incoming internation student at the Foreign Students Information System (FSIS) and generate FSIS Number on portal here: https://indianfrro.gov.in/sform/
Bonafide Letter:
The student will be given registration number/ enrollment number from Chanakya University- necessary for Bonafide letter. After completing all the compliance requirement a Bonafide letter from Chanakya University will be released with the details of student.
e-FRRO Registration Process
- Sign up at e-FRRO Portal (https://indianfrro.gov.in/eservices/home.jsp).
- – Upload the Eligibility Letter and other required documents as required by the portal.
- – If there are any discrepancies or if modifications are required, contact the Office of Chanakya University before submission of documents.
- – There is no registration fee if process is completed with 14 days of arrival. After 14 days student will be asked to pay a late fee.
- – It is primary responsibility of international student to register at FRRO Portal and student should connect with Chanakya University Administration to obtain all the relevant documents on time.

Submission & Updates
- After submission, you will receive your Residence Permit (RC/RP) within 10–12 days.
- If there is no update, log into the e-FRRO portal to check the status.
- Send a copy of the Residence Permit to the OIA at Chanakya University for official records.
Key Considerations
- Ensure to leave the country before the expiry of your RC/RP, even if your visa is still valid.
- Keep track of your emails for updates regarding the status of your application.
Residence Details (FORM C)
- For students staying on-campus, complete the formalities at the Hostel Administration Office at Chanakya University.
- For off-campus residents, obtain the required documents from your landlord or accommodation provider.
