The School of Public Policy and Legal Studies, Chanakya University is a newly established institution for higher education in public policy and law. Established with the objective of providing excellence in education and research, the School offers a wide range of academic programmes in law, public policy and social sciences at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. 

With a strong focus on interdisciplinary education and research, the School aims to equip students with a comprehensive understanding of the legal, social and political landscape in India and the world. The curriculum is designed to be rigorous and relevant, with a strong emphasis on critical and experiential learning through internships, moot courts and clinical programmes. 

The School’s faculty comprises qualified scholars, legal practitioners and policy thinkers, who bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to the classroom. The anticipated research output of the School is both national and international in its scope and its scholars seek to make significant contributions to academic and policy debates in India and beyond. 

The School also plans to engage with the wider community through a variety of outreach programmes, including public lectures, policy dialogues, and capacity building initiatives. Its aim is to create a new generation of leaders in public policy and law who are equipped to address the complex challenges of the 21st century.
