Dr. Ramakrishna Pejathaya has a doctorate from the Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha (RSVP), Tirupati, for his research on the medieval text on astronomy Siddhāntaśekhara of Śrīpati and its influence on later astronomers.
