It gives us immense pleasure to share that a book authored by Dr. Vinayak Rajat Bhat and Ms Tejusvi Shukla (Research Associate at CIKS) titled “Kautilya’s Arthashastra: Timeless Strategies for Modern Governance” got released at the Akhil Bhartiya Shiksha Samagam (ABSS) 2024 organized on 29th July 2024 at Manekshaw Centre Auditorium, New Delhi on the occasion of the 4th anniversary of the announcement of National Education Policy 2020, released by Ministry of Education and IKS Division.
The book is conceived as a primer, handholding the beginner into the world of Chanakya’s Arthashastra exploring the summaries of each chapter, bringing out the relevance of Chanakya for our current times. Prof. Mahadevan in his lucid foreword mentions, “….Therefore, the head of any institution such as
the Prime Minister of the democratic model of governance, or the CEO of a multi-national
corporation can find these guidelines useful” underscoring the enduring significance of these insights and the way it has been brought out in this book.
