Sri. Amish Tripathi

Sri Amish Tripathi is an acclaimed Indian author, former diplomat, and broadcaster, widely recognized as one of the fastest‑selling writers in Indian publishing history. Since the publication of The Immortals of Meluha in 2010, he has authored 12 books spanning fiction and non‑fiction, with over 8 million copies sold and translations into 20+ Indian and international languages. He is best known for the Shiva Trilogy and the Ram Chandra Series, which reimagine Indian mythology through a contemporary lens.

Beyond literature, Amish has served as Minister (Culture & Education) at the Indian High Commission in the UK and as Director of the Nehru Centre, London (2019–2023). He is also a prominent broadcaster and documentary host, collaborating with Warner Bros Discovery, NDTV, and Jio. His recent honors include an Honorary Doctorate from the University of York (2026) for contributions to literature and global cultural dialogue. An alumnus of IIM Calcutta, he frequently features among India’s most influential cultural voices.
