The workshop on “Translation and Culture” was successfully conducted on 10th and 11th of December, 2022 at Yuva Patha, Jayanagar, Bangalore. People from states of Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, and Karnataka participated in the workshop.
The sessions discussed topics such as British Education Policy and its Impact, the issues of translating ideas across cultures and the issues of machine translations. Interesting ideas were discussed as people from different knowledge domains critically engaged with the topics presented by the key speakers. The workshop was successfully concluded on the note of further collaboration on the research on translation issues and working towards a solution to it.
