Dr. Harini Nagendra’s talk at the University, organized by the Chanakya Centre for Sustainability, centered on ‘Building Sustainable Cities: A Social-Ecological Systems Perspective.’ Guest Visit at Chanakya Ms. Judith Weinberger-Singh, Resident Representative of Hanns Seidel Foundation India, Germany and Mr. Sandeep Kumar Dubey Programme Head, Hanns Seidel Foundation India visited Chanakya University. Discussion on academic collaboration(s) were held with Dr. Chetan Singai, Dean, School of Law, Governance and Public Policy and Mr. Deepak Raj Pandya, Assistant Professor, School of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences, Chanakya University. The team from Lipi Game – Sri Sagar Anisingaraju, Sri. Prasad Chaganti and Ms. Aparna Nalluri visited Chanakya University to meet the Chancellor, Vice Chancellor and the Dean of School of Law, Governance and Public Policy, Chanakya University to discuss the potential of using games as a platform for teaching and learning. Her presentation provided a comprehensive overview of the critical challenges and potential solutions related to urban sustainability, mainly focusing on the unique context of Global South Cities like those in India.
