Published a research article – In Silico Development of a Multi-Epitope Subunit Vaccine against Bluetongue Virus in Ovis aries Using Immunoinformatics

In collaboration with National Institute of Veterinary Epidemiology and Disease Informatics (NIVEDI), Bangalore, Dr. Shubhada Hegde’s group published a research article titled “In Silico Development of a Multi-Epitope Subunit Vaccine against Bluetongue Virus in Ovis aries Using Immunoinformatics”. The work highlights the computational approach for designing a multi-epitope subunit vaccine incorporating B-cell, helper-T lymphocytes (HTL), and cytotoxic T-cell lymphocytes (CTL) for Ovis aries targeting six serotypes of the bluetongue virus (BTV). This tailored vaccine development approach offers a promising pathway for effective control of BTV.
