Murli is a Mechanical Engineer from NIT- K. Surathkal, and an MBA from IIM Lucknow. Prior to founding Lodestar, he was one of the co-founders and CEO of MeritTrac – India’s leading Skills Assessment Company. MeritTrac was at one point globally within the top 5 in terms of no of assessments conducted – it used to conduct close to 5 million exams per year

Mr. Murlidhar facilitated an engaging and interactive session on how to make the right career decision, where he shared the concepts of the process of making the Right Career Decisions. He explained the significance of “Why it is important to decide your career first – even before you decide the course or stream.
The students got to understand the basis of discovering the most suitable career for themselves, the 3 critical components that will help them to identify are Interest, Aptitude, and Personality, and how a mismatch in these will affect their career.
All of these were explained with a lot of real-life examples in each of the cases, with which the participants gained a lot of clarity on what is important in making a career decision. They also understood the changing landscape of new-age careers and the advantages of liberaleducation universities.
