Chanakya University’s Annual Day Celebration
The Annual Day celebration at Chanakya University was an eagerly awaited event that brought together students, faculty, and staff, to commemorate the achievements and talents of the Chanakya community. This year’s Annual Day, held on 03/06/2023, showcased the incredible talents and excellence of our university.
The Annual Day event was graced by Sri Ravi Bhat, Popular cine, and TV artist along with Prof. Yashavantha Dongre, Hon. Vice Chancellor, and Dr. Ashok H S, Dean, School of Art Humanities and Social Sciences. Sri Ravi Bhat delivered an inspiring speech during the inaugural address and encouraged the students to identify the real meaning of education to benefit themselves and society at large.
The highlight of the Annual Day was the vibrant and captivating cultural performances by the students. The performances included mesmerizing musical performances, theatrical acts, and group singing. There was an English skit based on women’s oppression in society and how they fight for justice, while the Kannada skit provided a light-hearted comedy with the impact of technology in our everyday life.
The Annual Day provided a platform to acknowledge and honour the achievements of our students. The students were awarded for the top-performing students across intra-mural sports activities, cultural events, and inter-university competitions. The faculty members commended the hard work, perseverance, and dedication of the students in curricular and co-curricular activities.
