About the Minor :

The Minor in Social Sciences at Chanakya University is a multidisciplinary program open to students from all academic backgrounds—arts, commerce, science, and more. It offers an integrative learning experience across core domains such as history, polity, economy, ethics, and science & technology. Designed for intellectual versatility, the program prepares students for careers in public service, governance, law, corporate leadership, international relations, media, and NGOs.

The program blends academic theory with real-world application, helping students build critical thinking, ethical reasoning, analytical skills, and leadership. Courses span governance, economics, sustainability, and global affairs, making the curriculum relevant far beyond traditional public policy roles. Whether a student is aiming for civil services or corporate boardrooms, the Minor offers foundational knowledge and skills applicable across sectors.

This minor also emphasizes writing proficiency, quantitative reasoning, and engagement with current affairs and ethical dilemmas.
