Students will analyse and understand the nuances of debates like free trade vs protectionism, homogenisation vs diversity, sovereignty vs global governance, and development vs sustainability. Events and trends such as technological innovation, geopolitical shifts, economic crisis, climate change and anti-globalization movements encompasses the nature and scope of the course.

2. Fundamentals of Indian Logic: This course explores the rich traditions of Indian logic, focusing on ancient epistemological systems like Nyaya and Vaisheshika. Students will learn structured reasoning, debate techniques, and the application of logical frameworks to contemporary issues, fostering analytical thinking and decision-making skills. The broader gaol of the course to develop critical thinking and in-depth analysis.

4. Introduction to Kautilya’s Arthashastra: This course introduces students to Kautilya’s Arthashastra, exploring its principles of governance, diplomacy, and statecraft.
