Dr. Vineeth Paleri is a highly esteemed Professor and the Director of Academics at the School of Engineering, Chanakya University. With a distinguished academic career spanning over 35 years, Dr. Paleri has held pivotal roles at one of the most prestigious institutions, the National Institute of Technology Calicut from being the head of the Department of Computer Science to being a member of BOG and a member of curriculum committee for UG programme under university of Calicut. He earned his Doctor of Philosophy from the Department of Computer Science and Automation at IISc Bangalore, for his work on the automatic generation of code optimisers, A tool for generating C code for optimisers from their formal specifications.
Throughout his career, Dr. Paleri has been deeply involved in programming, program analysis, and code optimisation research. He has authored numerous influential papers on partial redundancy elimination and global value numbering, published in top-tier international conferences and journals. His work has not only advanced the field but has also laid the groundwork for future innovations in compiler design and optimisation techniques.
In addition to his research contributions, Dr. Paleri has been an exceptional educator, teaching a wide range of courses at both graduate and undergraduate levels. His courses on Compiler Design, Programming Languages, and Software Engineering have shaped the minds of countless students, many of whom have gone on to make significant contributions to academia and industry. The course at Purdue University covered all aspects of software development including requirements, specification, design, implementation, integration, documentation, and maintenance.
