Dr. Ritesh Jain

Ritesh Jain is a staff engineer at Renesas Electronics, Bengaluru, India. Previously, he was with Astrome Technologies, a deep-tech startup, where he was leading the hardware development. Ritesh received his PhD from University of Wuppertal, Germany in 2021 and M.Tech degree from Indian Institute of Technology, Gandhinagar, India, in 2014, where he was awarded the President’s gold medal. He was also awarded a DAAD scholarship to spend a semester with Technical University of Berlin during his Master’s’ studies. His research interests include wireless communication, imaging, and sensing systems. He has co-authored more than 25 publications in reputed international journals and conferences, including three International Solid-State Circuits Conference (ISSCC) publications, and one granted patent.  He is also a co-recipient of the 2018 Jan Van Vessem Award for Outstanding European Paper at the ISSCC, and the best student paper award at the 2020 IRMMW-THz Conference.
