Summary
The University hosted its third Townhall Meeting, Samagam 3, on 28th January 2026 from 03:30 PM to 05:30 PM, bringing together faculty and staff for an engaging session of updates, recognition, and open dialogue.
The session commenced with a welcome address by the Director–HR, who greeted the gathering and shared key updates on headcount, the Mid-Year Appraisal process, and ongoing learning initiatives for staff. The HR team also recognized outstanding contributions by announcing the Star of the Quarter and Happy Face of Chanakya awards, appreciating individuals who demonstrated dedication and commitment to the University community.
The Vice Chancellor addressed the audience next, sharing important institutional updates and infrastructure developments.
The Chancellor also addressed the gathering, expressing his pleasure in participating in the Townhall for the first time. He encouraged staff to actively share suggestions and proposed initiatives such as school-wise interactions and the possibility of organizing a lecture on Space once every six months or annually to promote academic curiosity and engagement.
The event concluded with an interactive Q&A session where staff shared several queries and suggestions.
Samagam 3 concluded on a positive and collaborative note, reinforcing the University leadership’s commitment to transparency, staff engagement, and continuous institutional growth, while strengthening the sense of community across the Chanakya University ecosystem.
