The Prathibha Puraskhara program was successfully organized today by Chanakya University in collaboration with Yuvaka Sangha, Campus to Community, and Microsoft. The event was inaugurated by Shri K. H. Muniyappa, Hon’ble Former Union Minister of State, who in his address highlighted the importance of grassroots leadership, education, and empowering rural students.
The program aimed to felicitate meritorious students of Devanahalli Taluk who excelled in their academics. A total of 10th and PUC students scoring above 90% from government schools were honoured with cash awards of ₹10,000 each. In addition, as part of the digital empowerment initiative, 20 computers were distributed free of cost among five government schools of Devanahalli Taluk.
The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Prof. M. K. Shridhar, Padma Shri Awardee, who addressed the gathering with an inspiring speech. Mr. Guru Prasad, initiator of Campus to Community and representative of Yuvaka Sangha, along with Mr. Kishor Kumar T., CSR Philanthropy Head, Microsoft, also participated by distributing computers to schools. The Block Education Officer of Devanahalli and several Gram Panchayat members were present to encourage the students.
The program witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, teachers, and the local community. The inspiring words of Shri K. H. Muniyappa, coupled with the recognition of student achievements, made the event memorable and joyful.
