New publication from Dr Priyardashan Kinatukara

Dr. Priyadarshan has published an article titled “Functional (re)annotation of Mycobacteroides abscessus proteome using integrative sequence and AI-based structural approaches” in the journal Current Research in Structural Biology. Mycobacteroides abscessus (MAB) is a clinically relevant pathogen with a poorly annotated proteome with over a fourth of it lacking GO terms. Using an integrative sequence- and AI-based structural approach, >1,200 proteins were assigned with GO terms or have undergone refinement of GO terms. The approach is a scalable framework for functional annotation across diverse proteomes.
