As part of the Indo-European Summer Academy 2025 at Chanakya University, participants had the opportunity to hear from the Former ISRO Chairman and Chancellor, Chanakya University.
In his session, he addressed key aspects of energy security, ranging from the safe disposal of nuclear waste to the potential role of Small Modular Reactors (SMRs) in India’s energy future. He highlighted how nuclear technology, when managed responsibly, can provide sustainable and secure energy solutions.
The Chancellor also spoke about the opportunities in space-tech entrepreneurship, encouraging students and young professionals to explore innovation and policy as tools for building a better future. His remarks connected science with strategy and highlighted the importance of combining research, technology, and governance.
