Ganeshotsava 2K25, organized under the banner of Saṃskṛti, was celebrated as a three-day cultural and devotional festival at the University. The event brought together students, faculty, and staff in a vibrant display of spirituality, unity, and tradition.
The festivities began with the installation of Lord Ganesha’s idol in the Reception Area, followed by daily poojas, bhajans, and prasada distribution. On the first day, 138 students and 18 faculty members participated in the inaugural pooja performed by Sri Anant, with prasada sponsored by the Finance Department. The second day continued with morning and evening rituals, drawing enthusiastic participation and soulful bhajans, with prasada support from the Sports Department. The final day saw over 120 students attend the morning pooja, culminating in the grand Ganesh Visarjan.
The highlight was the evening procession from the Administrative Block to Krishi Honda, where nearly 243 students joined in devotional dancing to the beats of a local Tamte team, creating an atmosphere of joy and reverence. The visarjan concluded with prasada sponsored by the Administration Department.
Across three days, the celebration recorded 600+ instances of student participation along with consistent faculty involvement. The shared sponsorship of prasada reflected inclusivity and teamwork across departments.
Blending solemn rituals with cultural vibrancy, Ganeshotsava 2K25 not only honoured Lord Ganesha but also strengthened bonds within the university community. The chants of “Ganapati Bappa Morya” echoed as a reminder of unity, devotion, and the spirit of celebration.
