The inaugural session of the Executive Talk Series featured Mr. Niran Bhimaiah, the dynamic entrepreneur behind Coffee Nirvana. A third-generation coffee farmer from Coorg, Mr. Bhimaiah shared his inspiring journey from his roots in agriculture to becoming a successful business leader.
He began by recounting his professional evolution: starting in sales and later exploring various roles within the IT industry. Reflecting on his career, he emphasized the importance of passion and purpose, noting that he loved every role he took on. That same enthusiasm, he said, guided him when he decided to return to his family’s legacy of coffee cultivation and transform it into a thriving entrepreneurial venture.
Mr. Bhimaiah walked the audience through the evolution of his business, from producing traditional coffee beans to creating decoctions and powders, and eventually innovating with coffee capsules designed for modern machines. Staying true to his farm-to-cup philosophy, he shared how his estates have helped bring global recognition to Indian coffee.
Currently, Mr. Bhimaiah focuses primarily on plantation management and capsule production, continuing to blend tradition with innovation. His engaging talk, rich with real-world insights and entrepreneurial wisdom, left students deeply inspired to pursue their passions with purpose and perseverance.
