The School of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences (SAHSS) organized the 10th edition of Sammilan on 4 December 2025 at 9:30 AM near the Flag Post at Chanakya University. Although hosted by SAHSS, the event was conceived as a university-wide gathering, bringing together students, faculty, and staff from all schools to celebrate collective achievements and reinforce institutional unity.
The objective of Sammilan 10 was to recognise academic, cultural, and sports accomplishments, while also appreciating the contributions of faculty and administrative staff. The programme aimed to strengthen a shared sense of belonging and promote a culture of collaboration and acknowledgment.
A total of 68 students were appreciated for their outstanding achievements in academics, cultural engagements, and sports. Faculty members from various schools were recognised for their excellence in teaching, research contributions, publications, student mentorship, and university services. Administrative and support staff were also honoured for ensuring seamless campus operations and supporting both academic and co-curricular activities. These recognitions reflected Chanakya University’s commitment to nurturing talent across all levels and acknowledging the efforts that drive institutional progress.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from the campus community. The outdoor venue created an open, vibrant, and inclusive atmosphere, with reflections and acknowledgements that highlighted the shared values, aspirations, and growing culture of appreciation within the university.
Sammilan 10 concluded on a warm and celebratory note, successfully reinforcing community cohesion and recognising the diverse contributions that shape Chanakya University’s identity. The event served as an inspiring platform for celebrating excellence and strengthening the university’s collective spirit.
