Mr. Sabu Alexander from the Shastri Indo-Canadian Institute (SICI) visited the Chanakya University campus for an interaction focused on Indo-Canadian academic collaboration.
SICI is a bi-national academic organisation jointly mandated by the Governments of India and Canada to foster educational and research linkages between the two countries. It supports collaborative research, faculty and student exchanges, fellowships, internships, seminars, and academic networking across diverse disciplines, from the humanities and social sciences to science, technology, and public policy. It plays a key role in strengthening intellectual, cultural, and scholarly engagement between India and Canada
During his visit, discussions were held with senior faculty members, including Prof. Subramanya (Pro Vice Chancellor), on potential areas of cooperation and academic exchange. The interaction helped strengthen institutional connections with Canadian academic networks.
