Chanakya University is pleased to announce a National-level Kavigoṣṭī (Poets’ assembly) on classical poetry in Sanskrit and Kannada taking place on 1st March 2026 in National College Auditorium, Basavanagudi, Bengaluru. The event will begin at 10 am with Sanskrit Kavigoṣṭī followed by lunch and Kannada Kavigoṣṭī commencing at 2 pm. The programme will conclude at 5 pm with presentation of awards to the winners of Kārttika Kāvya Dīpotsava (national-level poetry competition). This event will be open for all the connoisseurs and interested enthusiastic people. Along with the winners of the competition, the Kavigoṣṭī will also host eminent poets of Sanskrit and Kannada. Dr. Śatāvadhānī R. Ganesh, a Padmabhūṣaṇa Awardee, will preside over the entire assembly. We heartily welcome all to participate in this unique event.
