On 3rd July 2025, students from the School of Engineering, Chanakya University, staged their original production “Chaitanya Neeti” under the mentorship of Dr. Rajashri. The play was presented as part of the 3-credit interdisciplinary elective course, Indian Theatre, which integrates Arts and Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) into technical education.
Performed by students from Mechanical, Electronics, and other engineering branches, the production explored the timeless wisdom of Acharya Chanakya and its relevance to today’s society. Through powerful performances, students demonstrated how Chanakya’s strategic thoughts and values can help address contemporary challenges.
The event reflected the university’s belief that engineers should not only innovate and lead in technology but also engage deeply with culture, values, and society. “Chaitanya Neeti” stood as a living example of heritage meeting modernity and of the NEP 2020 spirit in action—creating technically skilled, socially responsible, and culturally rooted graduates.
