On 2nd July 2025, the School of Engineering at Chanakya University staged its original theatrical production, “Daive Manushya Rupena”, under the guidance of Dr. Rajashri. The performance was part of the 3-credit elective course, Indian Theatre, reflecting the university’s vision of holistic and interdisciplinary education.
The play, performed by students of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence, explored the symbolic geometry of mandalas and the wisdom of ancient Indian cosmology. Beginning with a dystopian mission to save the planet, the story evolved into a spiritual and scientific journey, decoding hidden meanings within India’s knowledge traditions.
This production marked the first of two plays under the course and stood as a testament to the university’s commitment to NEP 2020, nurturing engineers who are creators, storytellers, and reflective thinkers in addition to being problem-solvers.
The event received wide appreciation for its creativity, depth, and integration of arts with technology, a true representation of Chanakya University’s future-ready education model.
