Benefits/Rewards for exemplary sportspersons
- Sportspersons representing Chanakya University at the State level are entitled to a concession of INR 25000 on their tuition fees (National level athletes receive 25% concession).
- Student achievers in sports at elite levels are given attendance, additional academic tuition,and exams (IA and SA).The University also bears expenses involved such as Coaching, training and participation, along with University sports attire (Tracksuits, Co-ordinates, shoes, and blazers).
- Mentoring from qualified coaches and trainers for each sport/ game, access to world-class gymnasium along with indoor and outdoor games.
Students’ Achievements in Sports at Chanakya University during 2022-23:
- Prerana G R – represented the Karnataka cricket team in the BCCI- U-19 WOMENS T-20 TROPHY 2022-23 held at Hyderabad and Ahmedabad.
- Prerana G R – represented Karnataka cricket team in BCCI- U-19 WOMENS ONE DAY TROPHY 2022-23 held at Chennai.
- Rithi Raju won the Silver medal in Indian round (30 meters) at Karnataka state archery championship-2023 organized by Karnataka amateur archery association.
- Rithi Raju won the Bronze medal in Indian round (50 meters) at Karnataka State Archery Championship-2023 organized by Karnataka Amateur Archery Association.
- Rithi Raju represented Chanakya University in the All India Inter-University Archery Championship 2022-2023 at Guru Kashi University , Bhatinda , Punjab.
- Mahalaxmi Singh represented Chanakya University in the All India Inter University Karate Championship 2022-2023 held at Atal Bihari Vajpayee Vishwavidyalaya, Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh.
