About the Minor :

The Minor in Visual Communication is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the principles and techniques of conveying information and ideas through visual media. This interdisciplinary program explores the intersection of design, technology, and communication, equipping students with the skills to create compelling visual content for a variety of platforms.

Through a combination of hands-on projects, students will learn to effectively use visual elements such as typography, color, imagery, and layout to communicate messages that resonate with diverse audiences. The curriculum covers a broad range of topics including graphic design, digital media, visual storytelling, branding, and data visualization.

By completing this minor, students will develop a strong foundation in visual media and prepare them for careers in fields such as marketing, advertising, graphic design, digital media, and content
