This Summer Academy is part of the India-Europe Resilience Forum (IERF), a prominent 1.5-track dialogue platform that brings together policymakers, think tanks, academia, civil society, and the private sector to foster long-term cooperation. The IERF addresses pressing global challenges such as geoeconomics, sustainable development, climate adaptation, and digital transformation. Its core vision is to build resilient, strategic, and inclusive partnerships between India and Europe. The Forum is jointly supported by Hanns Seidel Foundation (HSF), India in partnership with Institute of Peace and Conflict Studies (IPCS), Centre for Educational and Social Studies (CESS)/Chanakya University (CU) & Centre for Social Research (CSR).

Eligibility Criteria

  • Indian nationals, residing in India only
  • Must have completed an undergraduate degree
  • Under 30 years of age as of July 1, 2025
  • Open to undergraduate/postgraduate/PhD students, researchers, and young professionals
  • Must be fluent in English
  • Willingness to participate in the entire 7-day residential program (excluding arrival and departure days)

Travel, Lodging and Boarding

  • The Academy will make the travel, lodging and boarding arrangements and bear all the costs.
  • Return economy class domestic flight tickets from residence to Chanakya University. In the case of the train, it is 3rd AC train tickets.
  • Airport and railway station transfers
  • All meals and learning materials
  • Twin-sharing accommodation at Chanakya University
  • Fully funded residential program:
    • All modes of required economy-class travel (domestic only)
    • Airport/station transfers to and from the academy
