Chanakya University’s Campus to Community initiative demonstrated a structured and measurable approach to social engagement through three key programmes in January–February 2026: a Science & Technology School Intervention culminating in a Science Expo, a Blood Donation Drive, and a Community Health Camp.
The Science & Technology initiative engaged 70 student fellows over a one-month period, reaching 500+ government school students across 8 schools through activity-based learning in physics, chemistry, biology, and basic technology. The programme progressed to model-building mentorship, supporting 250+ students in developing 45 working models, and culminated in the Science Expo on 4 February 2026. The expo brought together 250 students from 11 schools, creating a platform for scientific presentation and peer learning.
On 26 January 2026, the university conducted a Blood Donation Drive with participation from students, faculty, and staff, resulting in 138 units of blood collected. Organised with medical partners and volunteers, the initiative supported critical healthcare needs, particularly for patients requiring regular transfusions such as those with thalassemia, while also promoting a culture of voluntary service.
Earlier, on 21 January 2026, a Community Health Camp delivered free diagnostic tests and medical consultations to over 200 beneficiaries, including residents from nearby villages. Supported by healthcare partners and a mobile medical unit, the camp enhanced access to preventive healthcare and enabled early identification of health conditions.
