LL.M., Karnataka State Law UniversityMy research interests are deeply rooted in interdisciplinary approaches to law, emphasizing the integration of legal principles with insights from fields such as sociology, economics, political science, and environmental science. Specifically, I focus on environmental law, where I explore the legal mechanisms for addressing climate change, biodiversity conservation, sustainable development, and the enforcement of international treaties like the Paris Agreement, often examining how these intersect with human rights and corporate accountability.
Personal law captivates me through its nuances in family matters, including marriage, divorce, inheritance, and adoption, where I investigate cultural, religious, and customary influences on legal frameworks, aiming to promote equity and modernization while respecting traditional values. Finally, in gender law, I concentrate on issues of gender equality, discrimination, reproductive rights, and violence against women, drawing on feminist legal theory to advocate for policy reforms that empower marginalized groups and dismantle systemic biases. This interdisciplinary lens allows me to contribute to holistic legal scholarship that not only analyzes existing doctrines but also proposes innovative solutions to real-world problems, fostering a more just and inclusive society.
I am pursuing a Ph.D., with my research centered on the National Green Tribunal and its role in environmental jurisprudence.
