Dr. Shruti Kanitkar has completed her Ph.D. degree from the prestigious institution of IIT Bombay, Mumbai, in Sanskrit grammar and linguistics. Her areas of interest are Sanskrit literature, philosophy and grammar.

She has presented research papers in various national and international conferences like All India Oriental Conference (AIOC) and World Sanskrit Conference (WSC). She has written and published a long poetry (Mahākāvya) titled ‘Shrimati-charitram’ on the life of Goddess Shree Radha. She has presented poetries in various Sanskrit poets’ meets nationally and internationally. She has translated some popular songs in regional languages into Sanskrit as a hobby.

She is interested in Indian culture and arts. She has learnt Kathak, the classical Indian dance of North India.
