Research Quest
Research focuses on water management and climate resilience using GIS, remote sensing, and hydrological modelling. Mapping the impact of land-use change, climate variability, and governance practices on water security and ecosystem sustainability, aiming to develop data-driven frameworks for resilient and decentralized water management.
Academic Bio
Dr. Kumaraswamy T R has completed his Ph.D. in Environmental Science from Bangalore University, where his research focused on landscape modifications and water utilization patterns in the Cauvery River Basin. He has over a decade of experience across academia, research, and policy consulting.
Before joining Chanakya University, he served as a Senior Consultant to the Technical Group Support for the National Curriculum Framework, Ministry of Education, Government of India. He was also consultant for preparation of Detailed Project Report of Cauvery and Krishna River Rejuvenation, Ministry of Jal Shakti, Government of India.
