Anupam Sharma
M.E., Goa UniversityMy primary research interest is in electric machine design for electric vehicle application and concentric power technologies for power generation. New generation of rare earth free and permanent magnet machines are widely adopted for clean transportation application, playing a crucial role in sustainable development. Solar dish, parabolic trough collector, linear Fresnel reflector are widely used for domestic and industrial application for power generation and other heating applications, are becoming a vital alternative of traditional coal-based power plants. I use finite element modelling tools to optimize the performance of the machine and ray tracing tools to optimize power generation using concentric solar power technologies. How we can employ clean transportation and power generation in decentralized manner, is the main idea that drive most of my research activities towards prosumer centric societies.
