Applications are invited for 01 Project Assistant position under a research project on:
“Co-valorization of Spent Seaweed Biomass and Agricultural Residues for Sustainable Biofertilizer and Biostimulant Production.”
Duration: 24 months, subject to satisfactory performance and continuation of the project.
Remuneration: ₹30,000/month
Location: Chanakya University, Bengaluru
Eligibility: M.Sc./M.Tech. in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Life Sciences, Biochemistry, Environmental Science, Agricultural Sciences, or related disciplines.
Desirable experience:
- Microbial isolation and screening
- PGPR/biocontrol assays
- Enzyme assays and microbial fermentation
- Solid-State Fermentation (SSF)
- Biomass/seaweed characterization
- Soil and plant experiments
- Molecular biology/microbial identification
The selected candidate will contribute to microbial consortium development, SSF optimization, biofertilizer/biostimulant characterization, greenhouse and field validation, and scientific documentation.
