Karnataka Rajyotsava was celebrated with great enthusiasm, marking the formation of the state of Karnataka. The event was graced by Sri Sunil Puranik, a renowned Indian film and television actor, director, and producer, who shared his valuable insights on the importance of preserving regional traditions and cultural heritage. During the event, the newsletter ‘Thambelaru’, was launched. Cultural performances added to the festive spirit, including monologue acting, group songs, and a captivating Veeragase dance, that enthralled the audience with its energy and traditional fervour. The celebration was attended by students, faculty, and our Honourable Vice-Chancellor, who expressed his appreciation for Karnataka’s rich cultural diversity and the significance of preserving its heritage.
