Chanakya University had the privilege of hosting Prof. J.K. Bajaj, Chairman
ICSSR and a scholar of repute at its Brigade Campus on 9th August 2022. The
visit was followed by an interactive session with the faculty of Chanakya
University. Prof. Bajaj in his address emphasised the importance of integration
of Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) in education at all levels.
While interacting, he suggested that there is a strong need for connecting
the academicdiscourse and our traditional knowledge to make our teaching
intelligible and validated. Further, he also highlighted the need for
documentation of India’s Knowledge heritage coupled with a high-quality
empirical research for global acceptance of IKS.
Prof. Bajaj conveyed his best wishes for the success of Chanakya University and
assured support and encouragement in all its future endeavours.
