Prof. K. V. Raju

Dr. K. V. Raju is Professor Emeritus at Chanakya University, Bengaluru, India. Currently, he is Member of the Economic Advisory Council to the Prime Minister of India. He is also the Economic Advisor to Chief Minister, Government of Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow. Earlier he worked as the Economic Advisor to Chief Minister, Government of Karnataka. He was Principal Scientist, Policy and Impact, Asia division, International Crops Research Institute for Semi-Arid Tropics, Hyderabad; Social Scientist, International Water Management Institute, Colombo; Visiting Senior Research Fellow, International Food Policy Research Institute, Washington D.C.; Professor and Head, Center for Ecological Economics and Natural Resources, Institute for Social and Economic Change, Bengaluru. He was consultant to World Bank, Asian Development Bank, SIDA, and research associate in the Institute for Rural Management, Anand, Gujarat. Till now, he has published 26 books and 102 journal articles.
