Constitutional Law, Digital Privacy & Data Protection, Technology Law, AI and Law

My research is driven by a profound curiosity about the relationship between constitutionalism and technological transformation. I am deeply interested in understanding how constitutional values can remain resilient in an era shaped by artificial intelligence, digital surveillance, data-driven governance, and emerging technologies. I believe that the law must not merely respond to technological change but actively shape it in a manner that preserves human dignity, individual liberty, democratic accountability, and the rule of law.
I aspire to build a research agenda that addresses contemporary legal challenges while remaining grounded in India’s constitutional vision and intellectual traditions. I intend to pursue research on artificial intelligence governance, digital constitutionalism, data protection, algorithmic accountability, platform regulation, and the constitutional implications of emerging technologies. I believe these areas will play a defining role in shaping the future of law and governance, and I hope to contribute to their development through rigorous, interdisciplinary scholarship.
I view research as a means of contributing not only to academic knowledge but also to public policy and institutional reform. My work seeks to combine doctrinal and comparative legal research with insights from technology, ethics, and governance. I am particularly interested in producing research that can inform legislative reforms, judicial discourse, and evidence-based policymaking while remaining attentive to India’s unique constitutional and social context.
As a teacher and researcher, I want to create an environment where students engage critically with contemporary legal issues and develop strong research skills. I hope to mentor young scholars, collaborate with colleagues across disciplines, and involve students in meaningful research projects that address emerging legal and societal challenges.
