Chanakya University celebrated its Foundation Day on Monday, 10 November 2025, reaffirming its commitment to Vidyā-Dāna—the noble act of sharing knowledge—and its mission of fostering holistic, future-ready education. The event gathered distinguished leaders from academia, industry, and public life to reflect on the University’s rapid growth and its vision for shaping ethical, innovative, and socially conscious graduates.
The celebrations featured the inauguration of several key facilities, including the Bharati Auditorium, Airtel Cafeteria, Jamuna Devi Jindal Faculty Housing Block, new labs supported by Axis Bank CSR, and the Suman Nirmal Minda Foundation Guest House. The foundation stone for a new CBSE school was laid, and the University unveiled its Donor Wall—a Tree of Gratitude honouring patrons whose contributions have enabled Chanakya University’s remarkable progress.
In just four years, the University has grown to 2,400 students, expanded from three to six schools, and strengthened its research ecosystem with seven Centres of Excellence. University leaders highlighted the institution’s focus on culture-building, interdisciplinary learning, research, and skill development—elements inspired by the wisdom of its namesake, Chanakya.
Eminent guests, including Sri Azim Premji, Dr. Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw, Sri Rakesh Bharti Mittal, Sri Mohandas Pai, and Dr. Shamika Ravi, shared insights on institutional culture, AI-driven transformation, innovation in biosciences, sustainability, entrepreneurship, and the evolving role of higher education in nation-building.
The Foundation Day concluded with a renewed commitment to advancing India’s educational landscape through world-class scholarship, community engagement, and global collaboration—anchored in civilizational wisdom and driven by contemporary relevance.
