Dr. Rajashree. K is an Associate Professor of Law and holds a PhD in law from CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bengaluru. Her research focusses on the Critical Analysis of Legal Aid Education in the state of Karnataka. Dr. Rajashree completed her Post Graduate and Under Graduate programme from University Law College, Bangalore University, Bengaluru. She is the recipient of several prestigious awards such as Vombatkere Gurunandan Rao Memorial Award and Prof. Ravi Shankar Gold medal for her exemplary performance in Labour Laws, Human Rights Law and Environment Law. She has secured 8th rank in BAL, 3rd rank in BA., LLB and 1st rank in LLM.
Dr. Rajashree has previously served as the Principal and Associate Professor at Soundarya College of Law. Prior to that she has worked as Sr. Assistant Professor at Ramaiah College of Law, Bengaluru where she has held the position of Chairperson for the Post Graduate and Research Council. Rajashree comes with experience of having worked in Fortune 500 companies before joining academics. She has worked as Manager-Legal in Sterlite Industries India Limited, Tuticorin, Chess Management Services Limited, Chennai & Delhi and Anup. S. Shah Law firm, Bengaluru.
