Talk by Prof. Sampadananda Mishra on ‘The Relevance of Indian Knowledge Tradition in the Contemporary World’

The Centre for Indian Knowledge Systems, Chanakya University, organised a talk on “The Relevance of Indian Knowledge Tradition in the Contemporary World” by Dr. Sampadananda Mishra, Professor at the Rashtram School of Leadership, Rishihood University, Sonipat. The talk was part of an orientation program arranged for the PG students who have joined Chanakya University in the present academic year 2023, organised on 10th January, 2023. Dr. Vinayak Rajat Bhat, Associate Professor, Centre for Indian Knowledge Systems, Chanakya University introduced the resource person to the gathered students and presented a brief preamble about the topic of the talk. Dr. Sampadananda Mishra conducted an interactive session with the PG students of the university. He signified the traditional thoughts given by the Rishi Parampara that, everything in existence is a form of divinity, by refining, evolving, and transforming one could attain the perfectness of divinity. He affirms that the core value of education should be the knowledge of One-self (Atma Jnana). He concluded his talk by giving knowledge of three tasks suggested by Sri Aurobindo which transform laymen into the new age global leaders with the highest vision. Dr. Vinayachandra Banavathy, elucidated the significance of illuminated insights of Dr. Sampadananda Mishra, and mentioned a vote of thanks toward the resource person followed with felicitation.
