Ph.D., Tumkur UniversityMy area of interest in research includes Indian Knowledge system blended with management theories to make students and audience understand the relevance of Indian epics and Sanatana dharma in the contemporary management studies specially in the areas of Leadership, change management and human resource. As a part of my doctoral research, I have presented papers at various national and international level conferences on the Role of HR managers as a strategic partner to gain competitive advantage. The research includes resource-based view model and Porter’s generic strategies and value chain analysis.
Dr Sandhya R has 25 years of teaching both at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and has been a guest faculty for teaching CA and CS courses. She has completed her Master’s in Commerce from Bangalore University with specialization in Accounting and Taxation and Intermediate course of Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India. She also has an M.Phil degree and a Doctoral degree awarded from Tumakuru University in the area of Human Resource Management. She is a Life member of National Institute of Personnel Management (NIPM). Her area of expertise include Accounting and Strategic Human Resource Management.
Her areas of training expertise include Outcome based Education and specializes in training faculty members on setting and attainment of outcomes for teachers. She also conducts Personality development programs for students including 21st Century skills. Her areas of interests include Traveling and Philosophy.
