Smt. Sangeeta Katti Kulkarni is a renowned Hindustani classical vocalist, composer, and performer, widely celebrated for her mastery across diverse music genres such as classical, light, devotional, folk, Sufi, and film music. Born in Dharwad in 1970, she demonstrated prodigious talent from a young age, receiving blessings from legends like Naushad and Mother Teresa, and began her formal musical journey under eminent gurus, including Pt. Basavaraj Rajguru and Padma Vibhushan Kishori Amonkar.

She is known for seamlessly blending styles from Kirana, Gwalior, and Jaipur-Atrauli gharanas, captivating audiences with her versatile presentations and profound command of raga exploration. Sangeeta has performed thousands of solo concerts globally, gracing prestigious festivals such as Sawai Gandharva Sangeetotsav, Mysore Dasara, Hampi Utsav, and international platforms including events in the USA, Canada, Australia, and the Middle East.

Her career encompasses playback singing for South Indian films, album releases, and pioneering compositions, including her debut as a music director for “July 22 1947,” praised by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. She actively promotes Indian classical music through her organization, Surbahar, presenting innovative thematic shows and festivals, and has earned major accolades such as the Suvarna Karnataka Rajyotsav Award and Pt. Basavaraj Rajguru Rashtreeya Puraskar.
