Samagam: Faculty and Staff meet to celebrate

At Chanakya University, the spirit of togetherness and collaboration came alive during Samagam, the much-anticipated Faculty and Staff Meeting. Held at the Preksha Auditorium on 03rd April 2025, the gathering was a heartfelt celebration of community, progress, and a shared vision for the future.

Prof. Yashavantha Dongre, Vice-Chancellor of Chanakya University, formally welcomed the gathering. In his address, he emphasized the university’s remarkable journey so far, highlighting academic milestones, research achievements, and the critical role each faculty and staff member played in shaping the institution’s reputation. His words not only celebrated past successes but also set an ambitious agenda for the future — one centered on innovation, quality, and student-centric education.

Followed by the address by Prof. Sushant Joshi, Registrar, who presented an engaging overview of the academic landscape at Chanakya. His address filled with insights into new programs, interdisciplinary initiatives, and strategies for enhancing the learning environment. Faculty members listened intently as she shared updates on accreditation efforts, curriculum reforms, and academic partnerships, all aimed at positioning Chanakya University at the forefront of higher education.

The interactive session was held with ideas, suggestions, and constructive feedback. Amidst the formal proceedings, there were moments of joy and celebration.

Samagam ended on a high note, not merely as a meeting but as a reaffirmation of shared purpose. As faculty and staff stepped out into the afternoon sunlight, they carried with them a renewed sense of belonging, inspiration, and commitment to the larger dream that Chanakya University represents.
