Eligibility Criteria  

60% and above (or equivalent grade) in PUC/12th/any other equivalent exam conducted by a recognized authority/institution in India or abroad.

The B.A. (Honours) in Economics at Chanakya University is thoughtfully designed to equip students for diverse career paths in industry and academia. The program structure supports varied aspirations, including careers in civil services, international organizations such as the United Nations, economic research, and data analysis. A distinctive feature of the program is its emphasis on integrating and promoting Indian knowledge systems within the framework of economic sciences. Aligned with the student-centric and innovative pedagogical approaches advocated by the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, the curriculum encourages academic exploration and flexibility. During the first two semesters, students at the School of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences engage with foundational courses across major social science disciplines. Thereafter, they are empowered to select their majors based on individual interests and academic goals. Besides, the students have the flexibility to choose the minor subjects according to their interests.
