Sudeshna Mukherjee has over 20 years of teaching and research experience at Bangalore University, Christ University, and Mangalore University. A recipient of the BPR&D Fellowship (MHA, Govt. of India) for her doctoral work, she was nominated for the U.S. State Department’s International Visitor Leadership Program on gender-based violence. She coordinated the drafting of Karnataka’s Women’s Empowerment Policy (2016) and led over 10 research projects funded by UGC, ICSSR, Karnataka Evaluation Authority, and Ford Foundation. Dr. Mukherjee has authored three books and over 50 articles in Scopus-indexed and UGC Care-listed journals and contributed chapters to volumes by Routledge and Springer.
