Reform Program at Chennahalli Government School

Chanakya University as a part of its community engagement program launched the Government Schools Reform Program today at Chennahalli Government School, Devanahalli. Sri. K. H. Muniyappa, Honourable Minister for Food and Civil Supplies, Consumer Affairs, Government of Karnataka launched the program by distributing school bag and books to students of 8 government schools in and around Chennahalli. 

Sri Muniyappa, during his address, stressed on the importance of ensuring that children from marginalized sections of society receive quality education.

He also stated that Devanahalli could become the next global education destination considering the rapid rate of growth of major educational institutions and the upcoming Fortune-500 organizations.

Sri Muniyappa also commended Chanakya University’s initiative of engaging with government schools in terms of development and ensuring that these schools adapt modern teaching pedagogies and thereby deliver quality education to all sections of learners. He concluded by adding that the upgraded government school at Chennahalli would be a potential model school and expressed his happiness in being associated with the cause.

Prof. Yashavantha Dongre – Vice-Chancellor, Chanakya University reiterated the University’s commitment in initiating various developmental activities at government schools and mentioned that Chanakya University faculty members would conduct classes at the upgraded government school in Chennahalli.

Sri Nagaraj Reddy – Chief Operating Officer at Chanakya University was also present during the event along with various members of the Devanahalli Zilla Panchayath, academicians, and faculty members of the University.
