Chanakya University resonated with the spirit of Freedom on August 15th as the campus came together to celebrate India’s 78th Independence Day. The event, a heartfelt tribute to the Nation’s journey of Independence, saw students, faculty, and distinguished guests unite in a shared sense of pride and patriotism. The day began with the unfurling of the National Flag, a moment filled with reverence as the National Anthem echoed across the grounds. We witnessed the distinguished presence of Cdr. Mahima Marin (Retd.) as the Chief Guest, and Hav. Tilak Raj from the 1 Kar Bn NCC as the Guest of Honour. Their inspiring addresses were a reminder of the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters and a call to the younger generation to uphold the spirit of Independence with Courage and Integrity A special moment of celebration was the felicitation of the Universitys’ NCC Cadets and the faculty members who have exemplified the ideals of service and dedication.
